We grow more than 60 varieties of rare, ancient apples. American. French. English. Each unique.

Each year we grow and select from all this amazing variety, hoping to make authentic, orchard-based, apple-only ciders.

Some apples play leading roles. Superstars. Others are supporting actors, essential but less noticeable. Alone, or in combination, apples can do things few cider drinkers imagine. Wine drinkers: time to sit up and pay attention.

We seek harmony with nature and want to show off the apples’ character.

Everything we do starts in our orchard. It is situated on the eastern edge of Oregon’s Willamette valley, a stone’s throw from the Santiam River. The soil is full of rocks, clay, calcium. It gets hard in Oregon’s dry summers. Soggy and slippery in our drenched winters. Hard to manage. Unfogiving.

But it produces fruit high in superlatives: aromatics, tannins, sugars. Clearly recognizable terroir.
